Delegation of Socialist Republic of Vietnam visits Ufa

On August 20, 2008 Ufa City Municipal District Administration welcomed the delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation, Mr. Bu Din Zin. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Ramil K. Khalimov, First Deputy Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration, Mr. Marat M. Galiullin, Deputy Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration, Mr. Zinnur Sh. Mardanov, Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Ufa, and Mr. Viloriy A. Yakupov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Trade and Entrepreneurship of Bashkortostan Republic.

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam is one of stable partners of Bashkortostan Republic. Currently, we are actively developing cooperation in the sphere of education of Vietnamese people in our universities. Moreover, Vietnamese presence is rather strong in Ufa with about 2 thousand people residing in the city.

The general programme of the visit was rather diverse and comprised meetings with top officials of the Government of Bashkortostan Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Trade and Entrepreneurship RB and the Department of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation in Bashkortostan Republic.

According to the Ambassador, the objective of the visit was establishing contacts with the leaders of the republic, getting insight into its capital and culture.
