Czech Senators visit Ufa

The official delegation of the Czech Republic has met with the leadership of Ufa City Municipal District Council and Ufa City Municipal District Administration of Bashkortostan Republic on June 17th. The meeting was attended by the chairman of Ufa City Municipal District Council of Bashkortostan Republic I.G. Nigmatullin, the deputy head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration of Bashkortostan Republic A.S. Yusupova, the secretary of Ufa City Municipal District Council of Bashkortostan Republic M.V. Larina, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Ufa Z. Sh. Mardanov, the chairman of the Сommittee on budget, taxes, finances and property issues of the State Assembly – Kurultay of Bashkortostan Republic L.M. Bakusov, and the deputy head of the secretariat department of the State Assembly – Kurultay of Bashkortostan Republic M.S. Abdullina .

The delegation was represented by the senators and members of the Committee on economy, agriculture and transport of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Jiří Stříteský and Jiří Nedoma, and the secretary of the Committee , Andrea Jůzová, .

The delegation arrived in Bashkortostan Republic to participate in the exhibition “Czech Republic is your partner”.

Among the topics discussed during the meeting were trade and economic relations between the republics as well as political issues.

At the end of the meeting the chairman of Ufa City Council presented the guests the colours with Ufa coat of arms and a photo-album of Ufa.
